For anyone who collects the apple decor, then you’ve got to check out this gorgeous Painted Apple Lamp.  Standing right at 12″ tall (that’s 1 foot in height), this lamp will add a touch of class to any room.  The top of the lamp is frosted glass with delicate apples and leaves painted on the outside.  The base of the lamp is molded brass, with a felt covering at the bottom.

The cord on this lamp has the on/off switch built in.  It is recommended that you use a 15 watt bulb inside, which is similar to the type used in older Christmas tree lights.  You can still purchase this style where ever you can find chandelier bulbs.  Though this lamp is used, it is still in excellent condition.  There are no chips in the glass top, and it still works great.

Many people have dreamed about starting their own online store, but were afraid of how much it was going to cost them in the long run.  If you’ve been thinking about starting your own store, you should really check out eCrater.com.  This is a wonderful site, where you can start your own online store for absolutely nothing.

eCrater.com is not an auction site.  This place is simply an ecommerce platform where people, just like you, can go in and start up their own online store for free.  There are no listing fees or any monthly rental fees.  Plus, you aren’t limited on the number of items you can list.  You can either list a few dozen items, or a few hundred items.  You can also add as many as 10 photos per item in your store.

One thing that needs to be mentioned is the fact that you can’t modify the layout of your store.  You are offered a few base templates, but that’s all.  You can’t add any html to your descriptions, and you’re store is going to look much like everyone else’s.  However, this is not such a bad thing.  All the templates are designed the same way, just in different colors.  From there, you need to create a small logo to put at the top of your store’s main page, as well as upload a small picture.

eCrater does allow you to create your own categories, and you can choose up to 7 categories to showcase on your site’s main page.  You can even give certain products a boost by allowing them to be featured on your main page.  Once you’ve created your store, you need to add your own products.  eCrater does not sell or offer any products, this is completely up to the merchants.  They offer a few different payment options, including PayPal and Google Checkout.

The best part about eCrater is that there is a huge support network within the community forum.  Be sure to read the entire FAQ in the forum, before asking any questions.  However, if you still can’t find the answer to your questions, the members and moderators of the site are more than happy to help you along.

Another thing is that you can have more than one store, provided you follow a few guidelines.  First of all, each store has to have a different email address.  Secondly, you cannot list the same items in each store.  No matter how many stores you create, each one has to carry different items than the others.  This is a cool option for those who want to create a store for their handmade jewelry items, as well as starting their own online bookstore.
